Siux and the World Padel Tour have reached an agreement to join their paths in 2020. The CEO of the Murcia padel brand, Nacho Martín, and the director of the WPT, Mario Hernando, have signed the sponsorship of Siux as official supplier of padel bags to the international padel circuit.

Siux joins the WPT and will be present in 18 official tournaments: two Masters, eleven Opens and five Challengers. In all these championships, the brand will have a stand where it will offer products and other novelties to padel fans.

Ismael Cancho, co-founder of the company, says that this agreement between Siux and the World Padel Tour will be at the center of many conversations: We will give a lot to discuss. There will be raffles, novelties, special and exclusive prizes in our stands.”

NEW RECRUIT IN THE TOP 10 OF THE WORLD PADEL TOUR RANKING

In addition, the Siux brand, which has signed a sponsorship agreement with Antonio Luque, will soon announce the entry of another professional player in the top 10 of the WPT ranking. Siux will therefore take the place occupied by Adidas, which has been the official brand of the circuit for two seasons. As a technical sponsor, Siux will have the same status as Head, Bullpadel, Nox, Joma and Drop Shot. Other sponsors of WPT 2020 include Estrella Damm as main partner, Adeslas and Crupa as premium sponsors, and El Corte Inglés, Herbalife Nutrition and Lacoste watches, as official sponsors.

SIUX FOCUSES ON YOUNG PROMISES

A young world champion is part of the Siux team. This is Javi García (Murcia, 2001), one of the great promises of the international padel. The Murcia player already knows what it means to play in different World Padel Tour events. He is now joining the Siux team with the goal of continuing to grow as a player to make the ultimate jump into professional padel.

Among his major titles, Javi García has a team world championship, a title won in 2015 with the Spanish national team in Mexico. In addition, in 2017, he was proclaimed vice-world champion in pairs. During the same season, at 16, he raised the title of Spanish Under-23 Champion with José David Sánchez.

”It was a very nice tournament for us and the title was completely unexpected. We didn’t manage to be the top seed, but we did manage to make a good tournament and win it, ”he comments.

NEW ACQUISITION: NUMBER 1 IN PORTUGAL

The padel company Siux from Murcia has announced its first signing for 2020, the professional player Antonio Luque (Jaén, 1987). The Jaén player is currently based in Portugal and plays on the Portuguese circuit, occupying the number 1 position in the national ranking.

He also takes part in the World Padel Tour tournaments, where he occupies the 70th place in the world padel ranking. In 2019, he played at the Marbella Master, the Vigo open and the San Javier Challenger. Luque has chosen to fight for his 2020 goals with one of the most coveted rackets for power players: the Siux Trilogy Attack.

Antonio Luque explains what convinced him to sign for Siux: ”When I heard about the brand’s interest, I was delighted to join them. It is always rewarding to be part of a team that is already well established in the padel world in Spain and which is now experiencing strong growth in Portugal. ”

He also explains why he chose the Siux Trilogy Attack for 2020, a power racket with which he felt ”at ease from the first moment”: ”It gives me what I need, both in defense than in attack ”. With this Siux racket, he will try to achieve his two goals for the season: ”I want to return to the Top 50 of the World Padel Tour. It will not be easy, but I will give everything to try to do it. In Portugal, my goal is to stay number 1 in the ranking. ”
